World-Famous Indian Dishes You Must Try

7. Palak Paneer

The most famous vegetarian dish in India. Fresh Indian cheese in spiced spinach sauce. Mild, nutritious, and a global favorite among vegetarians.

8. Vindaloo

The spiciest curry in the world according to many. Originally from Goa, a Portuguese-Indian fusion with vinegar, garlic, and chilies. Not for beginners.

9. Dal Makhani

Black lentils cooked for 24 hours with butter and cream. Originally from Punjab. Ultimate comfort food.

10. Gulab Jamun

The most loved Indian dessert worldwide. Milk balls fried in rose-cardamom syrup. Served hot or cold.
